Turkey Ham Pasta
Ingredients
- 250g pasta (your choice)
- 200g turkey ham, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200ml cream
- 50g grated cheese (such as Parmesan or Emmental)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional).
Turkey Ham Pasta
Instructions :
- Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing for a few minutes until tender and lightly golden.
- Add the diced turkey ham to the skillet and sauté for a few minutes until slightly browned.
- Lower the heat to medium-low and stir in the cream. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix well to coat with the sauce. Continue cooking for a few more minutes to warm the pasta.
- Sprinkle grated cheese over the pasta and allow it to melt slightly.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, if desired.
- Serve the turkey ham pasta hot. You can pair it with a green salad or vegetables for a balanced meal.
